Delete your account

You can delete your Set Straight account from the app or by writing to us. Both do the same thing.

In the app

Open You → Security and data → Delete my account. Confirm your password. The account is deleted 7 days later; sign in before then to cancel.

By email

Write to privacy@setstraight.app from the email on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request within 10 days and delete on the same 7-day schedule.

What is deleted

Your name and every earlier display name, date of birth, email, password, Apple or Google sign-in, device tokens, and your settings. You will no longer be able to sign in.

What is kept, and why

Entries, disputes, messages and the audit trail you wrote stay in the child's record, with your name and account removed. They are also the other parent's record, and they may be needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. What you wrote may still identify you by its content. If you want a specific entry deleted, ask at privacy@setstraight.app; a person reads every request and answers in writing, with the reason if we can't.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play.
